Lane Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums is a collection of active and retired Firefighters from Lane County, Oregon. The brigade was founded on Saint Patrick's Day of 2007 by Eugene Springfield Firefighters who were moved by their experiences in New York after 9/11 while standing in for Funerals of FDNY members who were lost on that fateful day.
The Brigade's mission, and motto, is ”Never Forget”. We strive to keep the tradition of honoring and paying respects to our brothers and sisters who we have lost in the course of their duties. We also play to honor our brothers and sisters who are still out there, every day risking life and limb to serve the public.
The Brigade performs at many Department-related functions throughout the year, and is also available for hire by the general public - in various configurations - for events, fundraisers, memorials, etc.
